Chaney Ranch Motocross Acknowledgment of Danger and Release from Liability

I am over the age of 18 years old. The document was presented to me and electronically signed by me prior to entry into Old Chaney Ranch for the FirePoliceMX Ride event.

I KNOW I MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE I SIGN IT.

I have been provided the opportunity and enough time to fully read this document outside the Chaney Ranch gate. Therefore, I am willing to enter the ranch with a clear understanding of what this paper means to me.
My electronic signature on this document is my signature and confirms all of this; otherwise I would not sign it. I can turn
around and leave at my free will.

I know that MOTORCYCLE RIDING IS A DANGEROUS SPORT and my participation will expose me to
danger, serious injury or death. This possibility of injury or death can happen because of mechanical equipment
failure, my own actions while riding, track and weather conditions, as well as the actions or failure to act of
other people, including the other riders on the track with me, or any other combination of those or other factors.
“THERE ARE WHOOPS ON THE TRACK, WHICH HAVE SHOWN TO CREATE AN INCREASED RISK OF HARM. YOU MAY TRY YOUR LUCK AND RIDE OVER THEM OR USE THE FLAT PATH TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WHOOPS TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF FALLING. YOUR DECISION DEFINES YOUR RISK OF HARM."
I assume all risks of harm associated with this dangerous sport and hold myself solely responsible for all harm
and injury caused to me during my participation in this sport while on the Chaney Ranch whether caused by the
negligence of the releasees or others on the Chaney Ranch.

I agree to take a practice lap or two before riding at high speed and will inspect the track for any dangerous
riding conditions and to be sure it is within my riding skill level. I understand that this release extends to all
rescue operations and I know that the Chaney Ranch track contains several blind jumps and that while I may be
jumping in the air on my motorcycle as much as 185 feet into/over a blind jump; that there could be a down
rider on the track in my landing zone, or a motorcycle, or a person or an object of any sort. I am willing to take this risk. They will be no one to warn you of this risk or to stop you from jumping into a down rider and you could be landed upon from a rider behind you at any time. Another rider may take you out by ramming into you on or off the the track, or from a rider behind me who could land on top of me. This blind jump issue is just another form of risk that I am willing to assume today and I will not rely upon others to flag or warn of the dangers inherent in this sport.

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I INTEND TO RELEASE WITH PREJUDICE THE FOLLOWING (*see below), AND ALL OF THEIR AGENTS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, LANDOWNERS AND FACILITY/TRACK OPERATORS,
AND ALL OTHER RIDING PARTICIPANTS FROM ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY NEGLIGENCE
WHICH RESULTS IN INJURY TO ME, WHETHER SUCH NEGLIGENCE IS ACTIVE OR PASSIVE.
LASTLY, IF I AM INJURED AND HAVE A PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM AND MY INSURANCE
CARRIER PAYS FOR ANY OF MY MEDICAL BILLS, I AGREE TO WAIVE MY RIGHT AND THEIR
RIGHT TO PURSUE SUBROGATION FOR ANY CLAIMS AGAINST THE RELEASES BELOW FOR
REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL COSTS, LOST EARNINGS AND RELATED INJURY DAMAGES.
